About Tim
Tim Paulson and his wife, Jane, have lived in Hancock Park in Los Angeles for over 30 years. Together they have owned several private homes and investment properties in New York City and Los Angeles, including several multiunit properties. Through these joint ventures, Tim has renovated five homes, flipped several houses, completed a 1031 exchange, and acted as a landlord for over 30 years. Tim earned his California real estate license in 2016 and has served clients in many parts of Los Angeles, from Downtown to Santa Monica to the San Fernando Valley. Tim is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® and uses his training to provide proper resources and guidance to clients over 50 navigating various life transitions.
In addition to over 30 years of experience as a real estate investor, Tim has had a successful career in marketing, sales, publishing, and public relations. Most notably, he worked in advertising for The Economist magazine and website. Tim draws upon these experiences in order to instinctively sense how to best market his clients’ listings. Tim received his bachelor’s in English from Georgetown University and his master’s in English from the University of Toronto. He is trilingual and speaks English, Spanish, and French.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys reading, watching movies with his wife, acting as a Boy Scout troop leader (he’s an Eagle Scout), and traveling. He has traveled to more than 30 different countries on five continents. Tim and his wife are passionate about helping others and are members of St. Brendan’s Church. Together they volunteer for Pencils for Kids and the Global AIDS Interfaith Alliance. Tim is also a published novelist.
